Stacey joined IYF in 2017 with more than ten years of experience in community and economic development. She was most recently the owner of the Economic Vitality Corporation, where she worked with smaller Texas municipalities to help them with their economic, tourism, and community development efforts. In 2014 she co-founded the Central East Texas Alliance, a regional non-profit organization. She has an extensive background in marketing and communications, and for eight years served as the host of the weekly radio talk show “State of the Arts” on the NPR affiliate in El Paso, Texas. She was nominated for a Lone Star Emmy Award in 2010 for her work as a writer/producer on the video project “Tell Us Your Story.” Stacey holds a bachelor’s degree in International Relations from Brigham Young University and a master’s in Interdisciplinary Studies from the University of Texas at El Paso. She lives in New Braunfels, Texas with her husband Jamey.
