Rendani joined IYF in 2021 as a Programme Officer for the Skills for Life initiative. She has eight years of experience in international relations, basic education, and monitoring and evaluation (M&E). Recently, she served as a Country Coordinator for a donor-funded continental M&E programme in the Presidency (Republic of South Africa) and Wits University. In this role, she worked with the governments of six African nations to strengthen their M&E systems for more effective service delivery. Prior to that, she worked at the Department of Basic Education in the International Relations unit, where she coordinated national basic education interests with international opportunities. This role required stakeholder relations engagement with embassies, donor agencies, and national and provincial governments. Her career began at the British High Commission in Pretoria working in entry clearance. She holds a Bachelor of Administration degree in international relations from the University of Pretoria.
