Rachel joined IYF in 2019 with 10 years of international development experience, with expertise in business development, project management, and data collection and analysis. Most recently, she served as Proposal Manager at Jhpiego, a global health organization affiliated with The Johns Hopkins University, where she secured funding to improve the health of women and their families, focusing on technical areas such as maternal and child health, adolescent health, HIV, reproductive health, and health systems strengthening. Previously, Rachel managed business development for BroadReach Healthcare, a South African health solutions company, from their Washington, DC office. From 2009-2011, Rachel lived in Ghana, where she led business development and implemented monitoring, evaluation, and assessment projects for a local Ghanaian organization called ILC Africa. Rachel has short-term professional experience in Angola, Guatemala, Indonesia, Nigeria, Timor-Leste, and Zambia. She holds a BA in Religious Studies from the University of Pennsylvania.
