Miguel Barreira Simone

Miguel joined IYF in 2017 and is responsible for providing technical support in the management, coordination, supervision, monitoring, and evaluation of all activities related to Via: Pathways to Work program. He brings eight years of experience working in NGOs including Kedesh Santuário para Criança, Associação para Desenvolvimento e Solidariedade Comunitária, and Young Africa where he contributed to the self-sustainability of more than 7, 200 young people enrolled in the Young Africa vocational training centre from 2011 to 2017. With expertise in youth employability, Miguel holds a master’s degree in Strategic Management of Human Resources and a law degree from the Instituto Superior de Ciências e Tecnologias Alberto Chipande. He is currently pursuing an additional degree in Public Relations and Strategic Communications from the Universidade Católica de Moçambique.
