Madeline Jonz

Madeline comes to IYF most recently from the Esperanza Center, where she worked in the Client Services Program. She provided direct services to newly arrived immigrants and supported Esperanza Center’s Immigration Legal Services with document translation. Previously, she served as a Fellow with the Programa de Voluntariado UCA (PVUCA), in El Salvador, working with agricultural entrepreneurship programs for women as well as historical memory and storytelling projects. As an undergraduate, Madeline trained and coordinated student volunteers for a number of Baltimore nonprofits, including the Esperanza Center, Healthcare for the Homeless, and Casa de Maryland. Madeline has a B.A. in Political Science with minors in Biology and Spanish from Loyola University Maryland and is proficient in Spanish.
