Laura joined IYF in 2014 with 15+ years of experience identifying and delivering stakeholder value for both corporations and nonprofits. She held several business-to-business marketing, branding, and sales strategy positions at American Express, including Director of Global Product and Channel Strategy and Director of Value Proposition. In 2008, Laura turned her business lens toward mission-driven work to pursue her passion for international development and gender equality. She supported advancements in financial inclusion at Women’s World Banking, and helped develop the girls-and-women track for the Clinton Global Initiative. At GBCHealth, she engaged multinational partners in accelerating global health improvements, and led an initiative to expand business investment in gender-based programs. Laura has an MBA from Columbia University, a B.A. from Wesleyan University, and studied at the Université de Strasbourg in France. She worked in Paris for eight years and is fluent in French, with knowledge of Spanish, Italian, and German.
