- Job Placement Officer
Julius joined IYF in 2018 and is the Job Placement Officer (Dodoma) for the Via: Pathways to Work project. In this role, he strives to enhance the employability opportunities for young people within the vocational training system. With extensive experience in youth affairs and a natural capacity for forming strong working relationships, Julius brings on board industry players, trade unions, government agencies, employers, and employment agencies to foster employment opportunities for Via beneficiaries. Julius holds a master’s degree in business administration from the University of Nairobi, and a bachelor’s degree in international relations from the United States International University. Previously, Julius worked as an assistant lecturer at St. John University of Tanzania and the Institute of Rural Development & Planning. Additionally, before joining IYF he worked as a private consultant on youth-owned SMEs and as an official for a local youth self-help group.
