Emily joined IYF in 2013 with 10 years of experience in business development, corporate recruitment, and education. Emily most recently served as new business manager for West Africa and Haiti at Chemonics International, which included a business representative position in Ghana as well as short-term assignments in Nigeria, Ethiopia, and Jordan. Prior to joining Chemonics in 2010, Emily worked in the grantmaking department at the Global Fund for Children and as a research analyst in the Los Angeles office of Spencer Stuart, a retained executive search firm. Emily is a former Los Angeles corps member with Teach For America, where she taught middle school and coordinated after-school programs. She holds a BA in International Affairs and an MA in International Development from the George Washington University.
