Liz joined the IYF team in 2019 as the Manager of Measurement, Evaluation, Research, and Learning. As a former high school teacher and research specialist for DC Public Schools, Liz is passionate about how data can be used to inform practice to ultimately improve outcomes for youth. She has a background in data analysis, measurement development, and program evaluation. Liz has a B.A. in English from the University of California, Berkeley, a Master’s in Education from Harvard University, and a Ph.D. in Education from Johns Hopkins University, where her dissertation focused on the development and measurement of social and emotional competencies. Liz hopes to contribute especially to this body of work as it relates to IYF’s vision for youth development.
