Daniel joined IYF in January 2018 as a Program Manager for the Americas. Prior to joining IYF, as a licensed Marriage and Family therapist, he worked with HealthRIGHT360 in San Francisco, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing holistic services to underserved individuals struggling with severe mental health challenges and addiction. His professional experience also includes working as a case manager to identify with healthcare providers the broader holistic needs and locally available support for clients, including family counseling, life skills, and financial services. Daniel has a background working with youth and LGBTQ populations on life skills, healthy/holistic development, and parent/family engagement. He received his B.A. in Biology from the University of Rochester and holds an M.A. in Counseling Psychology, with a focus on Creative Expression, from Sofia University (formerly the Institute of Transpersonal Psychology) in Palo Alto, CA. Daniel grew up in West Texas, where he is currently based.
