Youth for the Future (Y4F) supported youth at-risk in Jordan in realizing productive and rewarding roles in society while helping the country maximize the energy, talent, and enthusiasm of its young people. We carried out this initiative, formerly known as Youth:Work Jordan, in partnership with USAID and the Government of Jordan. To address the needs of country’s underserved youth, we adapted internationally recognized best practices through vocational and life skills training, mentoring, career guidance, internships, and job placement assistance. With an employability emphasis, the initiative reached more than 14,500 youth. Among youth who received the full training package, 70 percent have gone on to start a job or internship or continue their education. In addition to this direct youth impact, we built strategic alliances uniting diverse segments of society.
