Where We Work: Australia

Creative and motivated young social entrepreneurs from Australia have joined youth from more than 80 countries as YouthActionNet® Laureate Global Fellows.

Their initiatives have addressed issues such as racism against indigenous Australians and the mental health of men. As part of their fellowship, these young leaders gained networking, mentoring, and community-building opportunities. The Foundation for Young Australians, one of the longest-standing members of our global partner network, led a national YouthActionNet institute, Young Social Pioneers (YSP). They offered learning experiences, workshops, and mentoring to young Australian change-makers since 2009. Australia also ranks number one among countries examined in our Global Youth Wellbeing Index with CSIS and Hilton Worldwide.
