Youth. Empowerment. Success. (Y.E.S.)

Launched in 2008 with support from the Wm. J. Wrigley Jr. Company Foundation, the Youth. Empowerment. Success. (Y.E.S.) program provides vulnerable youth with access to the education and skills training needed to successfully transition to adulthood. Y.E.S. empowers disadvantaged youth through the development of key life skills (e.g., confidence, effective communication, teamwork), engages them in their communities, and improves their educational prospects.

The program is currently in its second phase and aims to integrate dental health messages into existing life skills and English classes in India in the cities of Delhi, Chandigarh, and Mumbai. Additionally, the program will support free dental clinics for participating youth and their families and their communities.

  • 1,400 youth complete life skills and workplace English training
  •  At least 7,000 family members of participating youth will benefit from dental care at program-supported dental clinics.
