Monique Thomas joined the International Youth Foundation in May 2000 and served as Information Resource Assistant in the Finance and Administration Department. Over the years she’s served in various roles within the human resources department at IYF and is now Manager, Field Office Human Resources. She’s is responsible for the implementation of human resource services in IYF’s field offices, including managing all aspects of international HR, staffing and recruitment, benefits, orientation and employee relations as well as all HR functions associated with the establishment and administration of  new field offices. Monique came to IYF from the Mayor’s Office of Baltimore where she worked for the Honorable Mayor Kurt L. Schmoke and the Honorable Mayor Martin O’Malley. She holds a Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Human Resource Management and an Associate degree in Internetworking Technology with a concentration in Cisco Systems and is a graduate of the Cisco Certified Networking Academy.
