Petula joined IYF in April 2005 with 12 years of extensive international non-profit and project management experience. Prior to joining IYF, Petula worked for Catholic Relief Services, a major Development and Relief organization, where she took on increasing management responsibilities. During this time, Petula spent six years overseas in Senegal, Benin and Brazil. Earlier in her career, Petula worked as a consultant for the United Nations Development Programme. Petula is an alumna of the Lycée Français de New York, where she earned a French Baccalaureat, and Columbia University. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Economics from Barnard College and a Master’s of International Affairs from the School of International and Public Affairs. She has lived and worked in Europe, Africa, Asia and Latin America. She is bilingual in English and French, is near fluent in Portuguese and has working knowledge of Spanish.
