Gillian joined the IYF graphic design team in December 2007 on a consultancy basis, becoming a member of staff in May 2008. A native of Scotland, Gill spent ten years working as a newspaper journalist and freelance writer in the UK and the US before taking several years out of the workplace to be at home with her children. Gill studied Graphic Design and Illustration at Maryland Institute College of Art (MICA) and has a BA in Marketing and French from the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow. Gill enjoys travelling, hiking, camping and gardening.
