Kids&Future is a grantmaking organization established in 2000 by a group of successful venture capitalists in South Korea to promote a new model of partnership between business and the social sector. It works to fill gaps in government supported services for children through addressing newly emerging social problems such as the digital divide, communication barriers, and cultural differences. Through one of its grantmaking programs, disadvantaged young people are being provided with personal computers, software, and Internet access through 165 youth agencies working in cooperation with Hyundai, Korea Telecom, Freetel, Compaq Korea, and Virtualtek. |
