The Child Welfare League Foundation (CWLF) was established in 1991 by university professors and students. CWLF entered into partnership with IYF in December 2001. CWLF works to develop community-based programs that support children and youth development. Its mission is to facilitate the amendment of child welfare laws and policies, and to raise awareness, deliver services, conduct research, and build networks for child welfare. Among those services it provides are: education for single parents, assistance with adoption and locating missing children, a child care hotline, protection for abandoned children, and a family rehabilitation center for post-earthquake relief. |
