Matan – Your Way to Give is the Israeli affiliate of United Way International and the International Youth Foundation. Matan is taking a leading role in developing a culture of giving in Israel. It provides an easy, credible, and rewarding way for people to give money, time, and professional skills. Matan is generating new sources of funding and strengthening the nonprofit sector’s ability to address human needs. It is creating a strong connection between the business sector and the community, encouraging and organizing volunteerism. Matan has created a process which brings additional financial resources to address social needs in Israel, of which children and youth are a major concern. It is the only organization in Israel conducting workplace campaigns, actively involving employees and management. One hundred percent of donations are distributed, as Matan’s operations are presently fully funded by The Ted Arison Family Foundation and Board members.

Matan activities include: workplace campaigns, developing community projects for companies, corporate fund management, and allocations based on standards of proper management and effectiveness.
