Raghda El-Ebrashi

RaghdaDr. Raghda El Ebrashi is the founder and Chairperson of Alashanek ya Balady Association for Sustainable Development (AYB-SD) in Egypt, and an Ashoka Fellow. Currently a lecturer on Strategic Management at the German University in Cairo (GUC), she has been active in community development since the age of fifteen. The recipient of numerous national and international awards, she received the 2010 Young Global Leaders Award presented at the World Economic Forum and the King Abdullah Award for Youth Innovation and Achievement. In 2008 she became a YouthActionNet Fellow and in 2009, she was chosen to join the 24 Board of Advisors for the Egyptian Cabinet to help implement the UNDP Millennium Development Goals in Egypt. Dr.  El Ebrashi earned her Bachelor Degree in 2004 from the American University in Cairo (AUC), where she also acquired her Masters Degree.
