Maria-Veronica is the Grants and Contracts Coordinator, where she produces legal agreements, and tracks the successful completion of grant requirements for the entire organization. She came to IYF in 2011 as the Business Development Coordinator, after completing a year as an AmeriCorps*VISTA in Roanoke, Virginia where she worked on fund development and strategic planning for health and human service nonprofits. Prior to her work with AmeriCorps, she worked with the Computer Science Corporation specializing in proposal assistance and finance management for Department of Defense contracts. Maria-Veronica graduated from Christopher Newport University in 2010 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and English. She is fluent in Spanish.
