"Corporate social responsibility is a hard-edged business decision.
Not because it is a nice thing to do or because people are
forcing us to do it... because it is good for our business."
— Niall FitzGerald
Former CEO, Unilever
Since 1990, the International Youth Foundation (IYF) has helped visionary businesses implement effective, sustainable, and scalable corporate social responsibility (CSR) solutions that deliver results. IYF works with companies, big and small, co-creating CSR programs that not only improve young people’s lives – but also deliver measurable benefits aligned with business goals.
In the current economic climate, companies are facing increased pressures to justify their CSR investments. IYF’s business benefit model takes into account the specific business priorities of our corporate partners to develop CSR strategies that will achieve a positive social benefit, while also having a measureable business impact in four key areas:
In the earliest stages of developing a CSR program, IYF sits down with company executives with the intention of understanding the specific drivers of their business model, i.e. to identify what matters most to company stakeholders. Then, with that understanding, IYF is able to respond with specific program strategies that are in alignment with company objectives.
