Jim Peirce

Vice President, Strategic Planning and Outreach

Jim came to IYF in 2003 with 13 years of corporate marketing and international sales experience. Between 1987 and 2001, Jim held several executive-level positions within the AB Electrolux Group (Sweden), including 7 years living and working in South East Asia where he led the company’s regional product development and marketing activities as Vice President of Product Marketing.  During the difficult 1997 Asia financial crisis, Jim led the company’s turnaround efforts in Singapore and Malaysia. At IYF, Jim leads the organization’s strategy development working very closely with IYF’s Board and Senior Management. Closely tied to IYF’s strategy is marketing and communications, which is also under Jim’s leadership. Jim holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Business and Spanish from the Pennsylvania State University (1986). He also earned his Masters Degree (MPM, 2002) from Carnegie Mellon University. Jim speaks Spanish and has traveled to 75 countries.
