YouthMap (2012-2015)_Image

YouthMap was a multi-country initiative informing how donors, international and local NGOs, and governments understand and address the challenges Africa’s young people are confronting. In seven Sub-Saharan African countries, we conducted holistic on-the-ground assessments and supported innovative programs and evidence-based approaches to positive youth development. For our assessments, we gathered responses from more than 3,400 youth and close to 700 community stakeholders. We implemented this USAID-supported initiative with a variety of partners in close cooperation with USAID Missions, while bringing together public, private, and civil society stakeholders to support and scale activities.
