Payal came to IYF in 2012 as a Program Coordinator for Corporate Programming. Prior to joining IYF Payal worked with UN Women in Tanzania, the Barefoot College in India, and the Global Women’s Network in Washington DC. She also brings a strong understanding of the hospitality sector, working with her family in the management and operation of La Quinta Inn & Suites in Texas. Payal earned her BA in Spanish from Southwestern University and her MA in Sustainable International Development from Brandeis University. She has lived and worked abroad in Chile, India, and Tanzania. She speaks Spanish, Hindi, and Gujarati.
