IYF Wins International Design Award

The International Youth Foundation is pleased to announce that its 2006 Annual Report,  “Realizing the Power and Promise of Young People,”  has won recognition in an international advertising and graphic design competition.  The publication was selected for a Silver Award in the 37th Annual Creativity Awards.  The competition was created in conjunction with the pioneering and prestigious Art Direction magazine to showcase leading-edge design from all points of the globe.  Each year, a panel of advertising and design professionals choose the best designs, advertisements, websites, and commercials from around the world based strictly on the quality of the entry -- judged on concept and creativity. This year’s Awardees were chosen from over 2,700 entries from 45 U.S. states and 29 countries.  Winning entries will be featured in the Creativity Awards Annual, to be published in Spring 2008 by HarperCollins. This is the first time that an IYF publication has gained international attention within the graphic design field.  Past honors for IYF have included the Council on Foundation’s Wilmer Shields Rich Awards.
